We Love Jesus & the Easter Bunny!!!

Easter was so much fun this year since Jack can really interact and show expression! Church is a little more difficult these days with a typical toddler, but we go anyways. One of us (John) usually ends up at the nearest playground or cry room. Jack now prays at meals and loves to put his hands together over and over and then claps for himself when we say "Amen!" The prayer usually consists of well wishes and thoughts for dogs, cats, and family members. How sweet it is to see your 1 year old praying! I also was able to provide snacks to Jack's daycare...rice crispy treat bird nests. It felt good to make and take a snack...I felt like a true mommy! Loved spending time with all our family this weekend. Jack Thomas and Conner William were two of the cutest Easter Bunnies around! The Easter Bunny was sooooo good to Jack! We love you Jesus and we love you Easter Bunny!!!

Home Sweet Home!

GOING HOME was so much fun for us. Jack and I had a great time playing with Aunt Jenny and Jet at the YMCA. The boys had the whole gym to themselves and played, and played, and played some more. Aunt Jenny even gave them magic carpet rides and Jet shared his riding toys. We were able to see Alexander run the 2400 (6 laps) in the track meet...he is my HERO! We also watched Emily basketball game- Uncle John would have loved to see Emi play! The park and dying Easter eggs with Papaw and Nenaw was so much fun. Nenaw took all the pictures so I will add some later.

Thompsons

Meet the Thompsons! Zoey, Zach, and Zane are the absolute cutest aren't they?! April and Family were traveling home from Kansas City, so we were able to meet up with them at a McDonalds nearby. We blew bubbles, talked about horses, and gave each other lots of sweet hugs. Our God daughter, Zoey, just had her 6th birthday and the anniversary of her baptism. It was so great to see all of you!

Flats & Friends!

So it has been a long year...ok longer than that counting pregnancy since John and I have been out. You know, like, out on a date with friends....dinner, dancing, late hours:) Recently we got the opportunity to go to a Rascal Flats concert with our best friends. Our agenda: Dinner at the Melting Pot, Rascal Flats concert, dancing at a local watering hole and back to the classic Skirvin Hotel for the night. This would be our first overnight away from Jack. I had mixed emotions, a knot in my throat all day, but I knew he would be safe and sound with GranDee and P.J. John and I had so much fun with Adam, Tasha, Cody, Tana, Jon, Ashley, and a late night appearance by Cody Parmenter:) Love makin' memories with friends! Thanks again GranDee & Poppa John for babysitting Jack Thomas!

Love Me Some Uncle Zach!

Uncle Zach came for a visit. He even changed a dirty diper....THE FACE SAYS IT ALL:) Jack loved touching Uncle Zach's belly button. JACK LOVES Uncle Zach!!!

THE Smith TWINS are HERE!!!

Eric and Kim Smith welcomed their twins into the world on March 22nd!
