We had so much fun over the holidays with our families! Sooo super busy that I have not posted in a while...Thanksgiving, Christmas, Jackson's 1st birthday, & some sickness in between. We made great memories during the last few months with new milestones and great family traditions with our little sweet family.

Batman!!!

Thanks Nenaw & Papaw for my new favorite P.J.'s....I am batmat!!

Turkey Art!

Jack and I made a hand turkey in the spirit of Thanksgiving. I knew it would be messy, but not this messy! I know, I know, learning and play is messy:) He was curious about the paint and liked the texture of the glue. I would have to say that this is the cutest turkey I have ever seen. I think we have an artist on our hands! So thankful for our Jack Thomas!

Yo Gabba Gabba!

Yoooooooooo Gabba Gabba! My Dad, Mom, Rebekka, Austin, Gabe, Jack, and I had a blast at the Yo Gabba Gabba concert in Tulsa. Gabe is Yo Gabba Gabba's biggest fan so it was neat getting to see him enjoy the concert and dance with his favorite character, Broby! Jack joined in the fun and danced the night away to the song, "There's a Party in my Tummy!" Gabe, thanks for letting us tag along...We love you!

Halloween Funnies:)

Trick-or-Treat tonight was filled with funny statements by the children of Stillwater. Here are the top 10:
  1. "Oh, it is just a war head."
  2. "I just farted!"
  3. "That's it?"
  4. "Can I get some chocolate instead?"
  5. "I need more cause my brother is sick."
  6. "I want more than that."
  7. "My grandma says I'll choke on jawbreakers- I'm gonna need something else."
  8. "I would like to choose."
  9. "How many pieces did you get?" (talking to sister)
  10. "The house over there has better candy."

Most kiddos were polite and said thank you and were followed by their parents holding cameras. There were great costumes, such as, lady bugs, Toy Story characters, and super heroes. Then there was the no costume typical teenager that held a Santa hat to collect candy and the 50 year old with some face paint....to each their own:) FYI: the Hardaways must get chocolate next year and give more than 2 pieces to make the children happy campers! Ha! Ha! I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!

HALLOWEEN!!!

Jackson was the cutest Moooo Cow I have ever seen!
Cousin Gabe and Jack- 2 Cute Cows!

There is another sweet Mooo Baby!

Mrs. Amy (keeps Jackson) came by to Trick or Treat with her little one!

OSU Homecoming

We had a great time with Jackson during OSU Homecoming. We attended the festive walk around (P.S. Chi Omega's won!!!), attended the parade, and spent time with friends. The Dan Russell family stayed the weekend with us and it was great to catch up with them and spend time with Amelia. Amelia shared her toys and books with Jack! Some of John's college friends crashed in the living room and we got to see Mandy! GranDee watched Jack so we could go tailgate and attend the game. Go POKES!!!

Scary Duck

We have discovered that Jackson is a little, o.k...a lot scared of a certain toy we have in our bathroom. During bath time this week, John squeaked a rubber ducky and Jack became frightened. I received this ducky as a gift when I was born and my Momma gave it to Jack. During bath time tonight, we decided to face our fears head on:) Jack was obviously upset at first, but we had a breakthrough. I see a future of friendship between Jack and "Scary Duck!"

The initial confrontation...

Ducky Breakthrough...the next video will not upload, so here is a summary. Ducky slowly came closer and closer to the tubby. Jack had one eye one him at all times. Jack hit Scary Duck, Scary Duck recovered and returned to the side of the tub. Mommy distracted Jack with another toy. Scary Duck made it in the tub with Jack. Jack ran for the hills. Jack held Mommy's hand and returned to the tub with Scary Duck in close proximity. End result: Jack and Scary Duck are friends.

Wagon Rides Rock

Jack loves his red wagon! We go on lots and lots of rides around the neighborhood and around the yard. This video is of Jack and Daddy in the backyard:)

Pumpkins!!!

Jack tried pumpkin for the first time. He played with the pumpkin, mommy cooked it, and then he enjoyed eating it for supper tonight. WE LOVE PUNKINS'!!
