Sharing Baby News

We told our families about our new addition over Mother's Day weekend. We used our precious dog, E.D., to tell our family our news. He wore an 18 month old onsie with "I'm Gonna Be a Big Brother" on the back and a big blue bow (pictures attached). My mom and dad were so happy. My dad usually knows when something is up, but I think we truly surprised him and the shock and joy on his face definitely showed it. My mom could not function to say anything at all...just tears-lots of tears! Now...John's mom's reaction was another story. She didn't have any problems vocalizing her excitement about her new grandbaby. See the video attached. John's dad was so shocked by John's mom that he wasn't sure what just happened. Telling our parents about our wonderful miracle were amazing moments! After sharing our news with both sets of parents, tears were shed and the whole story was told to Nenaw, Pawpa, Nana, and Grampy (Papa John). Our bothers and sisters were also excited to learn about their new nephew or niece! My sisters, Jenny and Rebekka, were shocked, excited, and have been so supportive. My older sister, Jenny, has three kiddos and the last one is just a year old. Rebekka, my middle sister, just had her first baby last December. It is wonderful to be having children close to the same age. John's brothers and sister-n-law, Cam & Cat & Zach, had unforgettable reactions to our news that we will always cherish. A few weeks later, Cam & Cat threw us a party at their house with sparkling lemonade, an amazing dessert, and a c0ngratuations banner! We are so lucky to have a supportive family and have enjoyed sharing this experience with them. We love you all so much.
